Settecento ran a heluva of a race on Saturday June 8th at Hastings racetrack in the George Royal stakes. It was Settecento's fourth start for the year after running second in a claiming race with a purse of $16000.

Settecento, trained by Dave Milburn and ridden to victory by Learie C. Seecharan was crowned champion on that day in race race named after one of the great horses of canada, George Royal. Interesting enough, it was the jockey Learie Seecharan's first victory of the year and it came in a big race which gave him, also, his first stake win.

The final result was decided after about ten minutes of enquiry from the judges which did not change the efforts of Settecento and Learie Seecharan run in this race.

Congrats.
